The Living Nativity seemed to attract more people this year. Our members John Eadie, Mike Owens and Tim Mawson were the Wise Men.

The 2011 Christmas Tree Festival was another success and in total we raised £340 which will go to the charity Action for Children.

The winner this year was the tree entered by The Ludlow Quilters.

On the 20th May we had our Church Anniversary Dinner. Good food and good company. Afterwards we were entertained by Bel Canto, a barbershop quartet. What a lovely evening!

The Synod held on the 6th May at the Ludlow Church of England School was a huge success.

A number of e-mails have been received thanking everyone for their efforts.

One of the e-mails specifically mentions the food saying that the chocolate cake they would die for.

These four photographs show just a few of the helpers. Thanks to everyone who either took part or who provided food.

On Wednesday 9th February the volunteers who help in Wesley's Cafe throughout the year were given an evening meal by way of appreciation. Our picture shows just one of the tables. Over 80 attended.

Our annual Christmas Tree Festival held on the last Saturday and Sunday of November was again a great success. Thanks to Gordon Treacy and his team for organising a lovely event. The Ferstival raised £490 for the Ugandan Project.

Our Church has been supporting Water Aid for Uganda and so the theme for the Harvest Festival in 2010 was 'Water for Life'. The main floral decoration depicted flowing water coming down into a well. The well had been made by the children in Junior Church.

Rev. Frances led the service and based her sermon on the bible reading about Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman at the well.

The Pudding Tasting event for 2010 was again a wonderful success with seemingly 1000's of people coming through our doors. Not only Ludlow people but visitors from all over the country and some from overseas too.

One couple from Cornwall intend to have the same sort of  event in their church.

This year all the proceeds will go to help with the Pakistan Flood Appeal and specifically our cheque for over £3,000 will be going to World Vision and will cover the cost of transporting many tents to Pakistan.

The Zion Luncheon Club has a history dating back to a time before the Zion Chapel was amalgamated with the Broad Street Church. They meet regularly with guest speakers each time.

The picture shows brothers Michael and David Jones when they helped serve lunch as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award.

On Tuesday evening 17th August we held a 'Welcome and Farewell' Party when the majority of our congregation met for the first time our new minister Revd Frances Biseker and her husband, Revd Jon Chesworth. It was also the last chance to say our goodbyes to our minister for the last 10 years Revd Deanne Evans.

Well over 100 turned up for this very successful evening.

The colour blue for the cake had a loose connection for Deanne and for Frances.

A mention here would not go amiss for the hard work by the ladies who laid on a magnificent spread. Thanks and congratulations.

The Church Walking Group meets monthly and all enjoy the fellowship of each others company. New members would be welcome.

This particular picture was taken near Clee Hill.
