Wesley's Café

Wesley's Café is open Monday to Saturday (except Bank Holidays and when the church needs the premises for other purposes) from 10.00 a.m. till 2.00 p.m. We have the Gold Award from Shropshire Healthy Eating Award Scheme and a 5 (top rating) for Food Hygiene.
The café serves hot and cold drinks, snacks and light lunches. The menu includes sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes, quiches and salad, as well as home-made soups, cakes, scones, etc. We also serve gluten free products.
The ethos of Wesley's from the beginning has been the welcome. Our customers are welcomed and greeted by a friendly face and there is no attempt to rush people. They are very welcome should they just come for a quick coffee or want to spend longer chatting with friends, reading a newspaper or book, or just sitting.
The café is staffed by an ecumenical group of volunteers who come, not just from the Methodist Church, but from all the other churches in the town and also some with no church affiliation. It was decided by CTAL (Churches Together Around Ludlow) that they would support a café in Broad Street, in the town centre, accessible to all.
Ludlow Methodist Church is a Fairtrade church and there are Fairtrade products available for sale in Wesley's.
Should you wish to visit with a larger group please contact the church catering committee through the Room Hire contact to make your booking.
